Headquartered in Tampa FL, Paws Aboard LLC has quickly grown into a major player in the Pet Supplies Industry serving both domestic and international markets with innovative and functional products. Paws Aboard’s mission is to deliver excellent quality products focusing on the active lifestyle of pet owners; on land, in the water, or while traveling away from home. Our products are inspired by our own dogs and though the office tends to resemble a doggy daycare at times, it gives us a great opportunity to continuously test, tweak and come up with innovative products.
From taking the Doggy Boat Ladder to her first trade show, Amber has come a long way with Paws Aboard. She has since moved on to create designer Pet Life Jackets, Water Toys and other pet accessories that are sold all over the States, Europe and even Australia.
Paws Aboard was founded by
Amber McCrocklin in 2003. Being an avid boater, she found it particularly difficult to get her dog Bo back in the boat from retrieving his toy in the water. After searching for something to solve this problem, and coming up empty handed, she decided to create a product for pet owners who shared her dilemma. Amber knew the product had to be easily attached and stored to be effective. After extensive research and product testing, the Doggy Boat Ladder was finally born. Today Amber and Bo are enjoying the boating experience like never before. Bo gets in and out of the water with ease leaving Amber to tend to more important matters... like her tan.
Having dogs in the office makes a big difference for Paws Aboard and Paws Republic’s research and development. Employees are encouraged to bring their dogs to the office so that all products can be tested on a variety of sizes, breeds and temperaments. Plus, it’s just fun to have dogs around all the time! And although the office tends to resemble a doggy daycare, it gives the staff ideal opportunities to continuously test, tweak and come up with innovative products.
Bo (Parent: President and Founder, Amber McCrocklin)
Bo is a yellow Lab and the canine co-founder of the company. Bo is the reason that Amber started Paws Aboard and has earned the prestigious title CEO (Canine Executive Officer). Bo is the #1 go-to-dog for product testing. He is an active and fun loving dog that bears the exact traits Paws Aboard caters to in their line of products. Bo is an official canine supervisor and is constantly critiquing new products to be sure the human staff is on the right track. When in doubt, Bo will help you out!
Sydney (Parent: President and Founder, Amber McCrocklin) Syndey is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is the self-appointed office princess and prefers to be treated as such. When Sydney isn't playing with her brother Bo and sister Molly, you can find her snuggled behind Amber in her office chair. Sydney loves a good afternoon treat and play session, but she really prefers getting comfy elsewhere -- don't leave your chair unattended for long or she’ll take over! 
Molly (Parent: President and Founder, Amber McCrocklin) Molly is a Maltese who loves a good game of chase. During the day you can find her prancing around the office checking on things, or sweetly curled up on Amber's lap. She's always available to lend a helping paw during a life jacket or product photo shoot, and loves to be rewarded with a good snuggle session. She keeps the mood around the office funny and light and loves traveling to trade shows!
Berkley (Parent: Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Sarah Richey) Berkley is an English bulldog who loves working at Paws Aboard. His demanding daily work schedule includes a morning nap, play time after lunch, and an afternoon snore-fest under Sarah's desk. He is the bona-fide office clown and loves a good butt scratch if you're willing to lend a hand. If the office is in need of a dog model or tester for new products, sign him up.... preferably in-between naps! 
Cooper (Parent: Director of Operations, Cory Day) Cooper is a yellow Lab and an official momma's boy. Labeled the office happy-and-smiley-dog, Cooper is always excited to help his fellow employees with anything they might need. He warmly welcomes visitors with a full body wag. When not enjoying a good rub or play session, you can find Cooper curled up in the corner of Cory's office.... probably dreaming of chasing fish at the dog beach. 
Kyzer (Parent: Director of Operations, Cory Day) Kyzer is a longhaired miniature Dachshund and self-appointed security guard. He alerts the staff when a newbie joins the office - quickly followed by a smile and back-scratching floor roll. When Kyzer isn't snuggled in his doggy bed next to his brother Cooper, you can find him modeling the doggy life jackets. He accepts treats as payment....but belly rubs are preferable.

He is an active and fun loving dog that bares the exact traits we try to cater to in our line of products. With Bo on our side critiquing and making sure we’re on the right track, you can be sure that we will keep on delivering innovative, functional and fun products for a long time!
